ZARA CARPENTER/flowers
A collection of works by British multi-artist Zara Carpenter who expresses in various fields "flowers".
flowers is a series of Polaroid Chemigrams that I have been producing since 2020. These works are a celebration of nature. It means that you will receive joy and comfort in your life. The plants Zara grows in her garden, outside and inside her home have always brought her comfort. Something that calms the mind and quiets the noise when nothing else can be done. That feeling towards plants and flowers has grown even more over the past year. The massive lockdown has given Zara time to work on her floral imagery. He pushes the process, exploring new textures and visual landscapes, creating vivid daydreams that make you lose sight of yourself.
“These works were made from:
・Flowers grown
・Received flowers
・The flower I saw.
Each flower holds a memory of a moment, a place, or a person. ”
