This work is a card set consisting of the author's works from 2007 to 2018.
Lin Chih-Peng, named "No. 223" after the police officer in Wong Kar-Wai's cult classic "Love Planet" (original title: Chungking Express). He creates photographs that combine the poetic and dreamy atmosphere of Wong Kar-wai's films with the mysterious and almost solitary. Lynn usually cuts out erotic, sometimes arrogant and chaotic scenes, portraying his friends and models in a punk and rough way. Along with LGBTQ+-related themes, fruits and flowers frequently populate his work, and as symbols of playful sexuality, they remain closely associated with the subject matter of Lynn's portraits. Gender and various patterns are mixed with the ambiguity of emotions, creating anxiety and interest in the viewer. Lynn's image is full of soft comfort and sometimes melancholic feeling in a hedonistic lifestyle that is not bound by social norms. His "simple, violent, materialistic" photography has made him a leader in Chinese photography in recent years. Lynn once said that choosing the best one, two, or three of her photos is very difficult. Because each photo speaks to a memory or an intimate moment from a period in his life. The beauty of a photograph is not only the image of composition, color, reflection of light, perfection and simplicity, but also capturing the actual memory and feeling of the image.
